G-Dragon’s Musical Quest and Candid Confession
In episode 2 of “Good Day”, BIGBANG’s G-Dragon sets out to create the song of the year by collaborating with a diverse range of artists.
Regarding his dream lineup, G-Dragon shares that he wants to bring together figures who defined 2024, including BIGBANG’s Taeyang and Daesung, rising stars aespa and SEVENTEEN’s unit BSS, and popular band DAY6. To craft a song that transcends generations, he turns to Hwang Jung-min for advice, marking an unexpected but intriguing collaboration.

The two, who are mutual fans, share a special bond—so much so that G-Dragon even played a guide version of his new song for Hwang Jung-min before its official release. In turn, Hwang Jung-min expresses his deep admiration for G-Dragon, stating that the opportunity to work with him was the biggest reason for joining “Good Day”.
Meeting at an LP bar, they engage in an in-depth conversation covering everything from personal updates to profound discussions about music. Curiosity grows when G-Dragon finds himself deeply agreeing with Hwang Jung-min’s statement, “I prefer acting in supporting roles rather than as the lead.”

For the first time, behind-the-scenes details about G-Dragon’s second album title track, will be revealed. Teasing an untold story, he remarks, “I never had the chance to talk about it anywhere.”
Kim Soo-hyun’s Unstoppable Energy
Meanwhile, “Good Day” also features a rare and exciting gathering of 1988-born stars. Alongside G-Dragon, actors Kim Soo-hyun, Lee Soo-hyuk, Im Si-wan, Hwang Kwang-hee, and Jung Hae-in come together for a once-in-a-lifetime meetup.

In the previous episode, G-Dragon and Kim Soo-hyun planned this long-overdue get-together. Their “88 Nation” friendship special will be commentated by Defconn and Code Kunst, who are ready to immerse themselves in the hilarious dynamics of the 88-liners.
As the stars introduce themselves, they showcase their charms through unique talents, from dialect acting to apple splitting. Notably, Kim Soo-hyun’s enthusiasm reaches unexpected levels, prompting reactions like, “Why are we going this far?”—raising curiosity about his intense performance.

Adding to the fun, Kim Soo-hyun recreates a viral moment from “Queen of Tears”, where he emotionally calls out, “Hae-in-ah.” Now, as Jung Hae-in is physically present, he playfully responds, “Can you stop calling me already?”—sending everyone into fits of laughter.
In the episode, Jung Hae-in also expresses his genuine enthusiasm, saying, “I want to participate as just Jung Hae-in the person, rather than as an actor.” Im Si-wan echoes this sentiment, adding, “It’s rare for all the 88-liners to gather like this, so I’m really happy we could all meet.”
